If your cells can hear your thoughts, what message are you sending your body?

What if the following statement were true?

Our health is affected by our beliefs, as “every cell in your body is constantly listening to your thoughts.” Mark Hyman MD

Beliefs are the thoughts that we have and we don’t really think about. They’ve become so much a part of who we are that we don’t have to think about them. Our beliefs dictate our actions which are primarily based on our subconscious programming. We have a tendency to believe someone else is wrong when we are challenged for how and what we believe. These thought patterns are so deeply embedded that they don’t leave much room for someone else’s version of reality, someone else’s habitual, subconscious thoughts.

From a very early age, we absorb our environment. We see, we hear, and we breathe our surroundings. We learn what is expected, how to behave, and how to respond which create our beliefs of love, safety, and belonging. We learn how to survive with shelter, food, and taking care of ourselves. As we age, we create circumstances, situations, and experiences based on our beliefs. It is a very comfortable place to be.

“Your thoughts have real and measurable effects on your body and brain. Your immune cells know your deepest feelings. Your stem cells are wired to your brain and help you to repair and regenerate.” Relaxation is key and when right or wrong is challenged, defined, and supported, it is usually accompanied by anger which creates anxiety and stress. Promote your own health by allowing a neutral understanding and releasing the negativity.

Right or wrong comes into play when others challenge our beliefs.

If we allow ourselves to listen, and understand that their imposed beliefs are not a personal attack but instead how we have been conditioned to live a certain way, our stress and anxiety would decrease dramatically and positively affect our health.

“As I understand, there is no right or wrong, only a difference in beliefs, so there is no place for anger to exist.” Alaine Nolt
